I received the email from AADSAS Nov. 12 for this current cycle. Here is what they had stated.
The Academic Update window allows you to add any recently completed courses to the Coursework Section of your AADSAS application so that an updated AADSAS GPA can be calculated. You may also edit your "Planned/In-Progress" courses. Remember, you cannot make modifications to courses that were originally reported to AADSAS as completed.
AADSAS permits applicants to report grades only ONE time during the Academic Update period. If you are taking courses during the Fall Term, wait until the end of the Fall Term to post grades earned for Spring, Summer, and Fall 2007 courses.
After receipt of your updated entries and transcript(s) reflecting new grades earned, AADSAS will verify that the course information that you entered is correct and a new GPA will be calculated. You will know this has occurred when a new re-calculated GPA appears inside your application.
Once you have e-submitted your application and AADSAS has received your updated transcripts, it will take up to 4-6 weeks to process. Updated coursework and GPA information will be forwarded to the dental schools electronically. You can check the status of the delivery of this new information to schools by logging on to your AADSAS application.
hope this helps
