Hey all

I was wondering if it is mandatory for applicants to e-submit and send in new transcripts for the academic update?

For example, I have completed my Summer 2015 an Fall 2015 courses, and I have removed some "Planned" courses that I had originally planned to take for the Spring 2016 semester.

I was wondering then, if it is acceptable for applicants to update the coursework on the ADEA AADSAS application without e-submitting and sending in transcripts to AADSAS? If it makes any difference, I have already been accepted to a school which only requires us to send in final transcripts before matriculating.

I appreciate the help, thanks!

I don't think it is, but I'm in the same boat as you. I'm assuming if you've been accepted, schools don't look at your AADSAS anymore and that the update is mainly for those who have not yet been interviewed/accepted.
Someone else might have better info though.

If you update your course on AADSAS without e-submitting and sending the transcript, it doesn't mean anything. Just like you did not submit your application and the AADSAS have no idea what are you doing with the application.

But I guess in your case where you have nothing much to update and you have completed all requirements, I think you just have to send in your final transcript directly to the school.
Though it could also depend on the school. I received an email from one school said "regardless of your application status, you gotta do the academic update bla bla bla.."

In conclusion, I did not answer your question. Lol

Do you need transcripts for planned courses next semester?
