Does any of you know any medical school offer an accelerated program for students who are leaning Family Practice ( 3 years of medical school and 3 years of residency) instead of 4 years? Thanks

A # of schools offer a combined 4th year, ie you are an MS4 and a PG-1 simultaneously. This shortens the process to 6 years total.

I believe you pay for the MS-4 and also are paid to be a PG-1, though I am not sure about this.

Marshall and ECU have (had?) this program. When I was a student at least 6 schools did.

MCP has a similar program for IM, as do others.
Check with the AAFP.

Hello prefontaine, I haven't seen your moniker on SDN in a while.
