I submitted my primary app at the end of September. Received 4 pre Dec interviews (2 were IS and 2 OOS) and 3 post Dec interviews. I did well in my interviews. On Dec 1, I got waitlisted in all 4. Post Dec interviews r all OOS and they r in late Jan. What r my chances of getting out off the waitlist pool? My GPA is 3.72 and bcpgpa is 3.6. I don't have enough money left to spend on flights and hotels in order to attend post Dec interviews. I wonder everyday what if I will be rejected from 4 pre Dec Interviews. Is it possible to have a such bad luck?

its pretty much impossible to determine whether or not you will get off the waitlist.. just wait and be patient.. i know thats easier said than done. It is out of your control now.. stressing about it isn't going to make the process faster or make your chances greater.

Trust me I feel your pain. I had 4 pre-dec interviews and got waitlisted at 3 and rejected at 1. Thought three of my interviews went pretty well too. I have no post-dec interviews, so at least you got that going for you. Hopefully 2017 bring us some good luck and we both make it off 1 waiting list.

I think your chances of getting into at least one of the 4 are pretty decent. But if you REALLY want to go to those post-Dec interviews then try a loan from your bank or apply for a credit card now so you get it in time to figure out travel.

You're better off than me. I had 4 pre dec and I have 3 post dec.

Got rejected at 3 pre dec and waitlisted at the other.

Just keep your hopes up!

Bro scramble for the money to go to your post december if you're that worried. Borrow from someone find any way possible because you're losing out on much more than $1-2k if you don't get in this cycle.

Follow everyone else's advice and try to get the money for your post-December interviews. If you end up reapplying, you wouldn't be the first or last person to do so.
