Good morning!

I was lucky enough to receive an acceptance at Touro 12/13. I just interviewed at UMD 2/25, which is my top choice. I am intending to send a LOI to UMD soon, I'm looking for advice on whether to mention the acceptance at Touro in my LOI?

I am also wondering if anyone has timeline information for UMD or post-dec acceptance chances. They didn't clarify if this was for the waitlist or still filling seats, from past years it seems they could still be filling seats until March.

Thank you!

Consider every interview at this time for the waitlist, but you never know how fast a waitlist moves. It might be tougher for public schools if you are in-state though; out-of-state might move as those applicants accept programs with lower tuition or better financial aid.

Thank you! I am OOS for UMD but regional, do you mean that out of state might make room in the class on the waitlist or that it is a disadvantage as OOS on the waitlist? Wasn't sure if I interpreted your sentence correctly

I think it's reasonable to presume that OOS movement might be larger because admits have to weigh paying OOS tuition vs. other options (including likely IS tuition). I don't know if it's a disadvantage because I don't know who else is with you on the waitlist.
