I have been accepted a NYCOM have sent my deposit. In all likelyhood I will be attending there. I have lived in NYC for the past 4.5 years and live with my bf in Brooklyn. I am having trouble buying tickets for my T-MI interview in february. I am interested in seeing the other school and it is the only other interview I have at this point...I feel like I should go to explore all of my options, and make an educated decision but is it worth the money? I am financially wiped out at this point. Any advice would be helpful...

if you think u will have any ounce of regret by not going to tucom's interview, then i would go. in the long run the process of interviewing is an investment...you will make it up when you are a doctor anyway 🙂 it sounds like that u are set on nycom since u are from there anyway........good luck in your decision :luck:

My first interview was at DCOM on 10/6 and I was accepted shortly after that. I was given interviews at PCSOM and NYCOM and EVERYONE told me I should go. I wanted to compare PCSOM to DCOM, but I really wasn't interested in NYCOM due to the location and COL. My family thought I should explore all my options too. So, I went to both interviews. I was accepted at PCSOM, but I didn't like the school. I withdrew post-interview at NYCOM and didn't even wait for a decision because of the COL and the location. I am going to DCOM and I was postive of that decision in October. But, in the interest of exploring all options, I wasted another $1500 going on interviews.🙄 So, my advice to you is that if you are totally in love with NYCOM and feel that is the place for you, save your money. I was impressed with NYCOM and I think it is a really good school, but it is not the right one for me. I am sure that you will get a wonderful education there. Good luck with whatever you decide. :luck: 😀

LMAO!!! I am not young! At times, I am not very lady-like either...🙄 EVERYONE did tell me to go and I DID WASTE $1500. I was sure of DCOM from the start and I should have ignored everyone's advice and saved the money. 😀
