YOWSERS, my bad...you should be just fine here then, it sure is wearing on me though...just a hint of sunlight please. Regarding your question, Mayo is an amazing place as I'm sure you saw on your visit. As a researcher, I have been able to take advantage of other numerous opportunities (like shadow physicians, and stand in on surgeries in the OR's). A lot of people down in the OR's know me by name, ask me how everything is when they see me, and I'm nothing but a lowly lab tech. It is a family atmosphere where everyone, all the way up to the department heads are willing to help you out. If you can take the weather, and the fact that there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do here in Rochester, you'll be fine. I'm from the city (Chgo) and I am dying of boredom!!!!!!!!!!!!
