If anyone has reliable knowledge about % accepted post-interview per DO school feel free to share. Reliable as in you heard from the admissions committee or at the interview, etc... please feel free to share! 🙂

This is obviously all hearsay, but I've read on these forums that:

RVU - 80%
KCU - 65-70%

At my school, we interview ~500, accept ~350.

A rule of thumb I use is that the number of accepts atr any given med school is 2-3x the number of seats.

This is difficult to calculate for several reasons. For example DO school #1 may have 200 seats and interview 800 applicants. However, by June 1st 200 of those applicants may have already withdrawn their application because they have been accepted to a MD school or another DO school that they prefer. These are withdrawals before they receive an acceptance from DO school #1. The school may need to accept 500 of those initial 800 interviewed to fill their class of 200. It may appear that the odds of an acceptance are 62.5% (500 out of the 800 that interviewed) but it is actually 83% ( 500 out of 600).
