Hi,

Does anyone know if the Access to Medicine program in the United Kingdom is accepted by medical schools in the US and Canada?

Thanks so much for your help.

"Accepted" yes, in the sense that a transcript that includes this coursework can be evaluated by a 3rd party and included for GPA consideration.

But A2M as a postbac would not get you into a US or Canadian med school, in general. Prereqs have to be done in the US or Canada. You can typically find this detail on an admissions website FAQ.

Immigration status would also be an issue. The UK won't let you do A2C if you don't have settled status there, and the US won't let you do med school if you're not greencarded (with maybe 5 exceptions per year). Not sure about Canada with this.

Best of luck to you.
