Yes , i submitted 3/23 and was complete 3/27 i think. I saw they pushed the deadline to April 15th from March 31st. I wonder if that will extend the timeline for when they extend interview invites as well.

yes, i saw that last night and was wondering the same thing as well. hopefully that is not the case

honestly no idea 😭 im hoping to live on my own but DC rent even the outside areas of the DMV are really expensive. Hoping to get a roommate with someone that is in the program or another medical student.

Congrats to everyone who made it into GEMS this year! As a former GEMS student, I want to offer some honest advice. Even if you meet the academic metrics, remain professional, and do everything 'right,' there’s still a chance you may not be accepted into Georgetown. That’s a harsh reality of this program.
If your goal is to start medical school in the fall, I strongly recommend applying to other schools and retaking the MCAT if that’s your weak point. While we often hear that hard work always pays off, in GEMS, that’s not the case.
Also, if you don’t get accepted, know that you’ll only receive one advising meeting, and after that, you’re largely on your own. So advocate for yourself, have a backup plan, and don’t lose sight of your bigger goal. Best of luck!
