Accreditation troubles?

So, I found out recently that the school I did my undergrad work in is accredited via ACICS or nationally accredited. This has created tremendous problems because none of the UC schools here in California will honor my degree. So is my only option to redo my undergrad at a regionally accredited university? Also, will my GPA even be considered by medical schools since my undergrad work was done by ACICS or nationally accredited school? Any suggestions?

bump. Anyone know if AMCAS uses nationally accredited grades in their GPA calculations?
