I don't know anything about USACS and I've never worked for them. But when you go to the USACS website and click on "Physician Ownership" it sends you right to a link for recruiters. In my brain I went from thinking "Maybe they're different" to "Getting harassed by the same old recruiters." They might want to work on their messaging a little bit, because the optics of that are absolutely terrible.

Tell me about their ownership. Is it meaningful ownership? Based on what I've read when searching "USACS" on this forum, I have my guesses.

I think that's Alexander Limkakeng of Duke University; great doc, researcher and person. Pretty sure he's oblivious to any implication or shade relating to this photo or the lanyard.

Read what you authorize when you register for the next ACEP conference. They're allowed to take pictures of you at the conference and use in any way they see fit. Most people don't read the fine print for things they agree to.
