I wanted to ask everyone out there who has been in a residency and/or fellowship program during an ACGME review: Did your program share the result of the program review (for example, the letter from the review committee describing the cycle length and the citations)? Do you believe program leadership should share the written communication between the program and the ACGME? +n what context or setting is this appropriate?

In general programs will share the results of the accreditation (yes/no/provisional/probation) and for how long as well as any things that require remediation. I don't think it's common for them to publish or share the entire document.

The results of the site visit in regards to accreditation can be seen on the ACGME website anyway. However, in regards to citations/concerns, from my experience the actual letter is not published. Aspects of it may be shared with the program but overall it is kept filed away. If your program has a departemental Residency Review Committee or an Educational Committee, that is a good venue to publish and discuss the letter.
