I have reviewed the ACGME requirements and am wondering if residents can do 2 months of outpatient neurology for their neuro rotations, if allowed by their program. Has anyone done this? Does anyone know the rules?
Also, my understanding is that a community psych rotation itself is not required--you simply need need exposure through your other rotations at least. Is this true? We do 2 months of community psych at our program.
I would appreciate your thoughts on this, especially concrete examples.
