^ I think you've got it backwards. NorEpi excites smooth muscle most of the time, while ACh usually inhibits it.
Pretty sure NorEpi can cause both excitation and inhibition of smooth muscle, depending on the receptor type (alpha and beta - yes there are also alpha and beta receptors for cardiac muscles, but they're different types). Highly doubt they care about specific smooth muscle receptors on the DAT though.
I don't think they even test you on most of the specific receptor types like nociceptors, thermoreceptors, mechanoreceptors, chemoreceptors, etc. Very generalized.
