failur of homol pair to sep is nondisjunction but this causes sex linked right? so why isnt A and C answwers

Answer is A, it's more specific than simply C. sex-linked diseases (too broad).
 
When they say sex-linked diseases, they are referring to diseases that are due to genes found on the sex chromosomes (usually the X chromosome) such as hemophilia or color-blindness.


I think you're thinking of Turner's syndrome (X) or Klinefelter's syndrome (XXY). These are not sex-linked. They are the result of non-disjunction in the sex chromosomes.
 
Failure of separation = nondisjunction. Ex: are what the above poster state, and Trisomy 21 aka down syndrome, resulting from a nondisjunction during anaphase I.

Sex-linked diseases are diseases that result due to genes on the individual sex chromosomes, and will be passed to generations accordingly.
