i totally forgot how difficult achiever PAT is. i can't crack a 16-17 on it 🙁, and PAT is the area i need to improve in. how difficult is the real PAT compared to achiever? especially keyholes and TFE?

Infinitely easier, but not as easy as CDP Keyholes and TFE. Achiever's Keyhole/TFE gets you to do them the right way while CDP lets you count lines. The right way being actually visualizing and manipulating the shapes in your head. Have you done the 2007 PAT? That has keyholes and TFE pretty close to the real thing imo (though the diagrams are terrible print!).

I kept getting 17s and rare 18s the whole time on achiever and got a 23 on the real thing so that gives you a quantitative way of figuring out how much easier the real thing is.

o ok, that's somewhat of a relief. there were a few TFE questions on the 2nd achiever test that were just overwhelming . SO MANY LINES man

i always run out of time to the point where i have to rush through the pattern folding

Oh yeah, I used to skip the TFE, come back at the end. Don't count lines. It will not work. The questions are designed to test your ability to visualize.

o yeah, i know i usually don't count the lines. im saying, in general they threw so many dashed lines and solid lines in the views that i had to knit pick to visualize the overall picture

I just got dumped by achiever PAT.... I was getting 23+ on CDP but I got 18 on achiever.. I mostly missed on keyhole so I guess I wasn't visualizing enough to get the right answer
