I am looking for the best supplemental/review book style book to go solidify acid/base chemistry for physiology this block. Any suggestions? (Hopefully something that is a short read) Also, any thoughts on West's Respiratory Physio? (I am likely going to purchase it).

for something short and to the point I liked Costanzo's Phys, it explains everything in a very matter of the fact sort of way and is very easy to understand. West's respiratory phys is pretty good, I would use something like constanzo to supplement it though because he seems to gloss over some concepts and you won't be able to fully apply them without a better explaination.

One of our classmates posted a link to this website that gives a good overview of metabolic acidosis/alkalosis. Other than that, I also recommend BRS phys. To be fair, I still don't get acid/base, but I think that is a personal weakness that I just haven't put enough effort in to overcome. Good luck.
