So I worked as a RA for a lab during undergrad for a year doing bench research, was put on a project, and I thought I was going to end up an author. However, I only ended up being acknowledged.

The paper wasn't published by the time I sent in my AMCAS/secondaries, so I left it out.

Fast forward to this past week, and the paper was finally published.

Do you guys think I should update my applications with a brief letter saying I was acknowledged in this paper? Or is the acknowledgement insignificant, and updating my apps would be trivial? If I do update my apps, do I send the update to the school I have an II to?

No. I've seen the typist get an acknowledgement. Theoretically, you already detailed your contributions to the project on your Primary. That is enough.

Ok thanks guys! I'll let it be....
