Do medical schools see the questions that you asked through ACOMAS portal? I asked a question a few days ago. It is marked as read but they never responded to it. Should I resend the question?

Does anyone know where I can find information and what I can and cannot change post-application submission? Like I might change my state residency and take a college English literature class in the fall/winter (but it is not planned at this time). Are we allowed to make changes to our personal statement or CV? Is there a list somewhere? I have been searching but unable to find it.

No those questions are just for AACOMAS representatives, medical schools do not see those...

Don't resend, they just take time to respond. If they dont within a week, then call them.

That information is laid out in the AACOMAS instructions. You can chance your personal statement and CV at any time.

What page? I have skimmed the instructions multiple times. I see you can update your transcript but what page does it talk about updating other things.

On page 22 of the application instructions, under the heading "Withdrawals/Changes", it states in bold letters, "All information other than coursework can be changed by
the applicant at any time during the cycle."

I guess it seemed to good to be true... I might be changing my residency soon and I was nervous about that...

I wonder why these (ACOMAS/AMCAS) make us enter our grades, etc. We submit our transcripts to them. Why can't they access that information from that?

Any ideas anyone?

My guess would be that it would generate a tremendous amount of extra work for the people at AACOMAS. It's much less labor intensive for us to input all of the grades and they check for accuracy than it is for them to input everything on their own.
