I think that is probably pretty close to right. It didn't hold true in my situation but that was my own doing. I made a 32 ACT and a 28 MCAT, but I only studied about 15 hours for the MCAT..NonTradMed said:I have not heard of a direct correlation, but I'm thinking that if a person does really well on their ACT/SAT, they are more likely to do well on future standarized tests including the MCAT. So someone who scores above a 30 on ACT and/or above a 1450 on SAT is more likely to score above say, 25 or 30 on MCAT, if all else is equal.

Pretty similar here too. Was already attending college and they told me I need to take the ACT and score at least a 14, so the next day I went in and took it cold. Didn't care. But MCAT? oh baby, studied my butt off. 👍HunterGatherer said:some schools take ACT or SAT especially state schools.
Took the ACT scored a 23 with zero test prep since I thought you could not study for it. I thought test prep was a scam.![]()
Scored 32 on the MCAT. Studied hard for this.
