I am thinking about doing research internship during the summer when I turn in apps. Can I list that on my primary even though I am turning in my primary in June?

If you're definitely doing it (which I think you should know by the beginning of June), yes.

If you've started it, then yes. If you haven't started it, then it's a future activity and can be listed on TMDSAS but not AMCAS

If you don't start it before submitting it, there's room to include it on most secondaries.
