In EK 1001 they say that in a activity series, metals that are above a certain one can reduce it while metals below that particular one will oxidize it. Is this always the case or does it depend if the activity series is showing reduction or oxidation potentials? For reference, the example Im taking about has a oxidation series, with the highest potentials on top.
