ADAT

Hi everyone!

1. I registered for the ADAT and was wondering if schools really look at the scores for specialties (especially periodontics). It seems like they accept the ADAT but do not really care much for it. I have sent a few emails to perio programs I am interested in and they either had never heard of it or said to attach my score but that it is not a requirement. Any thought about that?

2. Has anyone who has failed the nbde part 1 once but passed all the rest and done well on the ADAT found getting interviews into specialty programs difficult? I am scared my poor performance from years ago could really decrease my chances to get into a specialty program.

Update- score results today. Pretty happy with them considering how little time I had to study after signing up. Based on my data research/stats section, def say ADAT KO is the way to go to study for that section. It's all I used.
