Can adcoms check/see how often you login to their admissions portal to check your status?

Said another way: should I be conscious of how often I login to check my status or can I click refresh to my heart's content? Trying to walk that line of not missing an II and maintaining personal sanity.

I check my portals maybe once every other day. I should probably check daily but it's depressing logging in to no updates. Or maybe it's a good thing, who knows.
