Can someone please explain why not?

Was the answer choice "adding heat to an exothermic reaction increases the rate of ONLY the reverse reaction"? It shifts the equilibrium to the left (reverse direction) to favor reactants, yes. But increasing the temperature increases the rate of BOTH the forward and reverse reactions, and the relative amounts of reactants increases because of the shift in equilibrium.
