I'd like to add some more lower-tier schools, appreciate suggestions (ones which accept non US citizens/PR). I'm worried as I have no interviews on the horizon, and coz chances are lower for non-US citizens.

Had an interview at EVMS, awaiting response (I think waitlist, since they're giving few acceptances)
-in Rosalind Franklin's possible interview pool,
- in one of Wake Forest's possible interview pool (not interviewing now)
- SUNY Upstate: Hold
- also applied to New York Med College.

Any other suggestions for lower-tier schools to add?

If you have a permanent card they will treat your application as if you are a citizen.

Went to US school for college. No Permanent card, was working at a company where they started to apply for me, and then company's financials went downhill and they laid off many folks, so it didn't happen.

So, you're not a permanent resident.
The only state I know that is friendly to non-green-card-holder is Texas. As long as you have petitioned for a green card, you are eligible to be considered as a TX resident. Most, if not all schools here in TX go by state residency rather than permanent residency. Sorry I can't be of much help.

Good luck,
