Additional Comments Secondary Quesion

I've seen quite a few posts about this question but haven't gotten a concrete answer. On secondaries that have an optional additional comments essay prompt, would it be better to fill the space with a "why this school" answer or to leave it blank (assuming no huge application updates, diversity essay prompts are present, and the why this school question is absent)? Whichever route is in the best interest for my application is the one I want to take. Feedback from people in admissions departments would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ton of SDNers are baffled by this prompt. Their problem is that they overthink it.

The prompt is not a test.

Use the prompt to tell the Adcom anything that isn't covered elsewhere in your app, that you wish to tell the Adcom.
