Hey all

So I have an interview coming up real soon and a doctor I work closely with wants to know if there's anything he can do to help the process. He was wondering if he could send an email to the admissions staff prior to my interview. I was wondering how appropriate this is and if anyone else has done something similar.

I have a LOR from him but I guess he wants to add additional information since he wrote my letter a while back.

Thanks!

Is he connected to the school in some capacity (researcher, faculty)? If not, why does he think it is appropriate for him to send a random email to the school?

Sorry I miss read your post. Please tell him not to do this. It just annoys the admission staff
