So... the head of the MPH program I am enrolled in sends out these emails for conferences/job opportunities/seminars. Don't know if anyone would be interested in any of them but I figured.... well... what does it hurt to post opportunities that may be available, right? I don't know how pertinent they would be to anyone on this forum, but here ya go...

The EWDA Student Chapter is pleased to announce the 4th European Wildlife Disease Association (EWDA) Student Workshop 2011. The Workshop will be held from April 14th to 17th, 2011, at the conference centre Les Pensières of the Fondation Mérieux, in Veyrier-du-Lac, France.
The Workshop is organized for and by students to promote the scientific education of veterinary and non-veterinary students. The Workshop aims at giving students the opportunity to meet and share the experience of the best scientists involved in wildlife disease research worldwide.

The Workshop is open to PhD-students and residents working on wildlife diseases in its broadest sense, and BSc- (in their final years) and MSc-students considering pursuing a career in wildlife disease research. Veterinarian, medical, biological, ecological, epidemiological and other backgrounds are all welcome. The Workshop is open to students from Europe and beyond.

The registration fee is EUR 50 and includes full-board housing. Application instructions and abstract guidelines are available on the EWDA Student Chapter website (https://sites.google.com/site/europeanstudentchapterofwda), also accessible via the EWDA website (www.ewda.org). The application deadline is February 1st, 2011.
