Hi

The "HELP" on AMCAS is not very helpful in this matter ......

I was thinking of submitting my application with my state schools as of now and when I get my scores back sometimes this month, I would (or wouldn't) add additional schools .........

My question is that do I still have to pay $150 for first school the second time around or will they just add 30 per school...... and in the help section they say that I will have to re-submit my entire application again ...... does it mean reentering all the stuff or just recertifying and submitting

Thanks

No. When you add schools, all you have to do is go to the school section, add your schools, and resubmit your AMCAS. It will only cost $30 for every school you add. You do not have to pay another $150.

adding new schools won't hurt (cause delay) any of previous schools right?

No, not at all. I did the same thing and there was no problem.

Get your AMCAS rolling as soon as you can and add schools when you get your MCAT score and know which schools you are competitive for.

Yep, I added schools last year as well and it only costs $30 for each additional school and it doesn't delay the previous ones.
