just wondering if your professor is a pharmacist, how do you address him/her?
Doctor Johnson, Professor Johnson, or just by his first name? Which is more appropriate? How about when you are being interviewed for pharmacy school? During the interviews, I just address them by their first names and I feel like Im disrespecting them by not calling them by Doctor So and So.

Call them Doctor if they are one, Mister/Mrs./Miss if they aren't, and never by their first name.

oh crap, so did that mean I disrespected the 2 pharmD interviewers?
they must have been offended and wrote me off.

I don't even call my undergrad professors by their first names unless they ask me to. You really called them by their first names? Did they say that was ok? I feel bad, maybe they'll overlook it though.

The head of admissions at Oregon State answers the phone by using her first name. She has a masters, but since she introduces herself by first name I follow her lead and address her by the same. When in doubt call them by the degree they have received. If they find it too proper, they'll let you know, but let them make that decision.

Call them whatever they introduce themselves as.

During my interviews:

THEM: "Hi Eddie, my name is Vanessa and here is our local pharmacist Judy helping us out today."

ME: "Nice to meet you Vanessa and nice to meet you Judy."
