Program-Specific Info / Q's admission question please help

I am applying to OT school and I want to know how the admission committee decides whom to accept. For reference, I am a psychology major with a minor in HDFS. Currently, I have completed 62 hours of shadowing and plan to do more. I have secured two letters of recommendation from professors, one from an OT, and one from my manager at work. (Not health related at all), but I have been working there for 3 years now). Additionally, I am involved in three clubs and serve as an officer for one of them. I am still working on completing my prerequisites, with the goal of applying to either TWU or UTMB.
Any advice on the application process would be greatly appreciated 🙂
