Hi friends,
I am posting this on behalf of a good friend. He is a pediatric ED nurse looking to apply to NP programs. I am trying to help him with the process.
I'm specifically wondering if there is a central database of some sort containing admission stats for NP programs? For med school we have the MSAR, which provides a **** ton of information, including # applied, # interviewed, # accepted & matriculated, median GPA, MCAT, volunteer/work experience, and so on. This really helps line up your safety/reach schools.
Do you have any advice on locating this info for NP programs? Or, if not, at least input on how to make a reasonable list of schools to apply to?
My friend graduated with a 3.20 with a BS from an accredited RN program in New England. He has ~2 years of ED experience. He has not taken the GRE (yet).
Thanks!
