Admissions committees use social media to check out applicants

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I'm applying to med school right now and looking at my facebook, I have a few pictures that showed me in a bar/making stupid faces at the camera...but nothing crazy like kegstands or doing something illegal or anything like that. I've since made my profile completely private and detagged myself in these photos, but is there any reason for me to be concerned about these pictures?

No that won't hurt you.

I've refrained from following any of the med schools' twitter pages because I am worried then they might be able to find me easier or may follow me back, in which case they will receive my 100 tweets every day and might get annoyed with me.
