Admissions Consultant?

Just curious to see if any one on here has ever used an admissions consultant to help with putting together applications etc. For example, AdmissionsConsultants.com or TheEssayDoctor.com. Kinda looks like a waste of money but I was checking to see if anything like this has actually helped anyone.

Seems like a waste of money to me. If you can read and follow directions, I don't think consultants are necessary.
