How exactly does it work with the interview process and getting accepted? Once you get an interview, are you on the same playing field as everyone else and only the interview matters for admission or is the interview just another factor in addition to all your grades/scores/EC etc.? Or is every school different?

Every school is different, but for the vast majority, its just another factor.
