is getting into pharmacy school like getting into med school where instate students have a better change than out of state students?

specifically wondering about university of iowa? do they accept mostly instate students?

Some schools have a cap on how many out of state students they accept. I don't believe that Iowa has this cap. I think that in general Iowa residents make up the bulk of applicants during an admissions cycle.
 
I honestly don't know. You'd think that was the case. I finally got accepted to two out of state schools after applying to schools in my state for three years. All three years, schools in my state rejected me. My first year to apply to out of state schools, I get accepted to two!
