ADT status

Hi Krmower or AmryOfficers,

I am currently a first year dental student.
I requested the summer ADT last February and haven't heard back
from Ms. Roxanne Flores. She deals with ADT status I heard.
I tried to contact her numerous time but couldn't get hold of her.
Is there any other way that I can find out about my ADT status?
It would be really great if I could see the base before OBLC and
look at the clinics.

check on MODS. you can see the status of your ADT orders in one of the pull down menus.

There aren't any update or anything. It just says BLANK and it seems
like nothing has been processed. hmm. So was yours updated on mods?

well first you have to make sure that Roxanne Flores gives you the go ahead to put in your request on MODS. She calls them for you to make sure that they are able to handle having you around etc. So if you are waiting for that then that may be why. Then on MODS it will say something like "orders requested" then "processing" then they will send you your orders sometime after that. It seems like a long process but they can issue you orders pretty quick if they have to. I had to change locations for my last ADT 2 days before I was supposed to go.

Hi Ongoing,

First, unless the rules have changed, Roxanne will not cut you ADT orders to visit a post until you have completed Basic Officer Leaders Course (BOLC). If you can do BOLC during dental school, do it, and then you can visit dental clinics in subsequent years. Otherwise, most people do BOLC after graduation.

So, if you cannot go to BOLC, you (and just about everyone else) will get orders for ADT from roughly 15AUG - 30 SEP, to coincide with the end of the Federal Fiscal year. You do not have to request it.
