Advantages to being an early decision candidate?

Does anyone have any ideas whether or not being an early decision candidate helps your chances of getting in? I'm planning on doing the early decision at Rosalind Franklin and am wondering if anyone has any input!

I think it really helps. It shows the school you are serious about them and attending their program.
