I just did AAMC 1 and got a 500. My MCAT is in three weeks and my goal is a 509-510. Do you think it’s still possible. I got 126/124/125/125.

I plan to just do a lot more practice and review my mistakes in my next few weeks. CARS also been a struggle but my goal in CARS is 125. Any advice would be appreciated 🙂

I am not sure how realistic your goal is given you have three weeks left to study; however, if you're set on taking it, I would crank B/B and P/S because those are two sections that can easily be improved by learning content and also doing passages. If you do enough practice you will start to see patterns in the way they ask the questions, especially for B/B. I recommend the 100 page Khan Academy notes for P/S that can be found on Reddit. Read it over a few times and take notes and anything that may confuse you go to the Khan videos for clarification.

How long/what have you been studying so far? Is this your first FL practice?
I have been studying since July and this is my first AAMC FL. I was doing Kaplan FL before this and was around the same score. My Bio section and Psych/Soc were higher though.

3 weeks it's not enough time in my opinion. There are clearly gaps in your knowledge base so I would recommend taking more time to do content review on top of doing more practice passages and full length tests. Trust me you do not want to take it and do worse. That would be disastrous!

In terms of full-length practice test I recommend Next Step. Kaplan in my opinion, are notoriously difficult and not diagnostic of your future performance. Of course, nothing beats the AAMC practice tests so be sure to prioritize those over anything else.

Yeah, if you've already been studying for a month, I also agree that 3 weeks is not enough time to up score into that range. I would reschedule instead of risking it. Also concur with NextStep full lengths as well as EK (never done them myself but heard they are quite realistic). If you're on a budget, NextStep offers 1 FL and a half length diagnostic for free. Personally, I thought both were very representative.

Have you been doing content review or just practice tests for the past month? How did you do on your prereq classes (assuming you've taken them?). That could help you figure out whether you are lacking in content or application of the material to the test.

Agree with the above advice in that a 9 point job is very unrealistic (unless FL 1 was a fluke)
