Advice about who to get letters from

I have asked a few people for letters, but I have a couple choices for the next 1 or 2..so far I have

sci 1 - pi
sci 2 - physiology prof
non-sci - entrepreneurship prof
other - dean of religous life (related to my leadership exp)

so I wanted to ask either:
- one of my managers from when I was a lifeguard (highschool until beginning of sophomore year...good to have an employment letter?)
- business communication professor (I got B range for my english courses and my VR is 9...maybe it will help to show them I actually have great communication skills 😛)
- a doctor who I had a medically related course with (he said he can write us letters, he sits on admissions for some places and interviews people too)


I think any of these will be equally strong, except the manager ones maybe since I haven't talked to them in a while and I don't think they generally write LORs

The letter from the PI is considered a research letter. Many schools want 2 science letters from profs you took classes from, so beware here that you may catch some grief from some med schools that are sticklers for this.

As for the next 3 letters, those are pretty useless / superfluous with the exception of that MD - that might be a worthwhile letter. Most of the schools I applied to want the basic letters and nothing more, to the point of limiting the number of letters you can send them to 3...

I didn't know Kanye West was pre-med... Definitely drop "Good Ass Job" before you start med school!
