What is your visa status? It's strange that you didn't have any single interview this year with your stats.

You are in a bad position. Many residency programs only interview IMG/FMG's within 2-3 years of med school graduation. Usually they require recent/active status practicing medicine. You may want to get some experience practicing medicine in your training country while reapplying in 1-3 years.

I was also thinking of perhaps to applying in Canada. I speak French fluently. Though limited research showed me IMGs have a tougher time applying in Canada than in US.

My possibly more extensive research a a year or two back shows that it is considerably tougher for IMG's to get residency positions in Canada. On the other hand, many people manage to get primary care jobs in Canada without residency training.
