Advice for Elective at Mayo (Rochester) & Northwestern?

I have away electives scheduled at Mayo (Rochester) and Northwestern, Chicago. If anyone has advice from previous experience, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I haven't rotated there..but I know someone who rotated at Northwestern and Rush. He recommended rotating at Rush instead, where he thought the residents were happier. Given that, Northwestern is a bigger name...atleast for med school. Also, he said NU gives undue preference to its own.
