Hello all. My stats are 3.6, 35R and I didn't get in anywhere the first time around. I was wondering if there are special things required of re-applicants if I reapply to the same schools i applied to before (like extra letter or something?). Also, if I didn't complete a secondary to a school, am i still considered a "re-applicant" to that school?

I think it might differ school by school. I remember some schools asking whether I had applied there before on secondaries. I would call each school you're reapplying to and ask, and also ask for advice on improving your application from previous years.

uhhh i'm shocked you didn't get in. did you have any EC's? or research? Maybe it was your personal statement? Your stats are high and pretty good. I would cut off my toes for your MCAT score. (well maybe just one of them). Also are your LORs ok? try getting a job in the hospital or volunteering or something this summer to help improve your app. also what schools did you apply to?

You should have gotten in somewhere. Maybe your personal statement was lame? Or you didn't really present yourself as sincere and knowing what you are getting into? Maybe you didn't interview well? Maybe there is some red flag in your LOR"s? Hard to say. Need to re-evaluate everything.

I'm sad you didn't get in with those stats as well, however, I'm concerned that at this point in the game you weren't thinking about improvement earlier. Have you been placed on several waitlists? I'm curious because I am applying this cycle and have pretty much 100% of my stuff done and ready to submit on day 1. If I don't have any likely prospects by Feb I'll be adding SMP/PB apps to the list, as well as other ECs... Also, how many schools did you apply to?
