I take my exam this Monday, the 11th. I've done all of USMLE world, and 50% of kaplan qbank. I took Form 2: 224; Form 4: 230; From 1: 242, and Form 3 today: 245. I was wondering if I should focus on First Aid and some Goljan before taking the exam or try to do a bunch of the Kaplan qbank questions that I have left. I liked USMLE world a lot so I almost hate to return to kaplan at this point. I would love to break 240, but will be happy with anything over a 230. From what i've read it seems I should at least get a 230 at this point.

Thanks for the advice.

I'm in the same boat (NBME scores and test date are very similar). It's hard for me to stay motivated now that my last NBME was above my goal.

Whatever you're doing is working, since your scores have gone up every time. I completely ditched qbank a week ago because it's very low yield. As soon as I finish up the last 2 organ systems, I'm going to hit my weak subjects hard for a couple of days, then do the questions at the end of Robbins qbook and RR path.
Hit it hard for 3 days and you'll have a chance to break 250.

Honestly you'll probably break it given your form 3

Agreed. Just keep focused and get a good night's sleep. But if you feel more comfortable with the reviews, go for it; I probably would do it myself in the same situation. Good luck!

how many hours per day should we be studying during the last 4 days before our test?

Well, at least i'm not the only one that doesn't want to do anymore work. I've only been doing about 6 hours/day this past week. I definitely can't wait to get this thing over with. thanks for the reassurance from those who posted. I think i'm just going to skim over first aid one last time and then get this thing over with monday morning. Good luck to everyone..

well I'm doing like 15 hours a day but unfortunately I haven't started early enough so I'll pay for it until the bitter end. 🙁

I have 10 days left, also hoping for a 240. I've taken form 1 (215, 1 week into studying) and form 2 (230, 2 weeks into studying, about 2 weeks ago). I'm taking form 3 tomorrow. My plan for the next week or so was to spend half the day reading through FA, BRS path and BRS physio again and spend the rest of my time doing tons of questions. Anyone have any better suggestions?

yea with 10 days out thats all i had planned on doing, just pounding first aid and hitting tons of q's. beyond that if youve been through everything not much you can get out of skimming them again, just hope its up there somewhere and you can access it during the exam.
oh and hope not to forget anything, though my brain is primed to start leaking at any moment

Update: took form 3 and got a 236, hoping this last week I can bring it up another 4 points. Who wants to take bets on whether it can be done?
