Just wondering if there is anything I should be trying to do before I apply in June. Here's a quick look at stats etc.:

Currently what I've done:
  • 3.3 cGPA 3.2sGPA (3.67 last two years, 3.0 first 2 years) strong upward trend, all As in upper level science classes. BS in neurobio
  • 515 MCAT- 128/128/131/128
  • 250hrs unpaid research at ivy med school
  • 300hrs research at public med school
  • first author peer reviewed review paper in journal with IF > 3
  • 90hrs clinical volunteering over 2 years at same hospital helping patients get out of bed and walk around (wanted to do more but location was 45min away one way, couldn't do it over breaks and summers).
  • 30hrs shadowing (might be more), neurologist, gen. surgeon, and a trauma surgery class for residents.
  • 25hrs nonclinical volunteering (special Olympics tournament, helping pack thanksgiving food for underserved people etc.)
What I am doing:
  • Research tech/lab manager at top 5 hospital (will be 1 year by the time I apply)
  • Will have 2nd author pub hopefully by summer
  • Starting to volunteer at foodbank in city (hard to get shifts on weekend, but signed up for 12hrs before March)
  • Signed up to do more hospital clinical volunteering in October, but did not have an open orientation until February. I guess itll be around 40hrs before I apply
  • Taking another neuro class at undergrad level

Anything else I can try to add? Not trying to like find things just to do it but just wondering if anything is lacking in terms of ECs that I could work on. I would like to volunteer more but the places I have found are all "booked" per se for a while in advance.
