I am currently in my 5th year of undergrad as a nutrition major. I will be graduating with a BS in Nutrition Studies.
However, my gpa is currently at 2.669. I am currently in a very hard situation that is causing me a lot of stress.
I have a rough undergrad years due to poor planning, poor living situation and some stupid decision I made due to self-esteem and fear issues.

I plan on spending one more year as an undergrad to get more involved on campus, to volunteer at a pharmacy, and to get As in courses I failed to do so. I will work and save up during summer then take the pcat + apply to pharmacy school over next summer of 2015.

I have 1+ year of pharmacy experience and am planning on getting my certification very soon. I also plan on working inside a research lab over the summer.

My question is I will staying as an undergrad for 6 years, have poor GPA (but willing to fix it), have pharmacy experience. Do you think that I have a shot at pharmacy school given that I will be repeating some classes, staying 6 years as an undergraduate? I may need to see a therapist seeing that I have a potential but made some poor decision that held me back. I am willing to work hard for the next year to fix what I have ruined due to my stupidity. Give me an honest opinion, doesn't matter if it's harsh. I hate giving up, so I don't want to leave what I started which is pharmacy school being my goal. Give me your opinion on whether or not this path is worth pursuing any more

I wouldn't say you have no chance at all.

I honestly struggled throughout college as well due to changes in my major. However, I studied for about a month after graduation for the PCAT. I studied about 5 hours everyday with the Dr. Collins study guide and scored above 90 on biology, chemistry, and math. I applied this cycle to 8 pharmacy schools, got interview invites from all, and was accepted to three schools as of now.

So I would say still try! Good luck!!
