I applied to several DO schools. My primary was complete around 7/27. I'm fairly competitive for DO schools 508 MCAT, 3.5 cGPA, 3.44 sGPA. I have a lot of clinical experience. Over 8000 hours. I have really interesting ECs. I am 30 years old. I have seen people on here get interviews to the schools I'm applying to with lesser stats, so I'm a little concerned that something on my app is holding me back:

At 23, I had a driver license suspension for 3 months for noncriminal 'careless driving'. For some reason, I thought the charge was noncriminal 'reckless driving' and it was a 6 month suspension, so that's what I wrote on my primary when it asked if we've ever had a license suspension of any kind.

Should I email the DO schools telling them the actual offense, or should I stay mute? I haven't said anything b/c I did not want to bring attention to it.

Try to make the change with AACOMAS. Otherwise, don't bring attention to it. I suspect if they care they will ask on the interview, and at that time you can say "I think I wrote 6 months but it was actually 3." Then give your explanation and offer documentation showing that it was 3 months and not 6. Don't make a fuss about this. I don't think anyone will think to penalize you for accidentally having made yourself look worse

I already tried with AACOMAS. Nothing can be done. But thank you. I will take your advice.
