509 mcat, 3.8 ish gpa. Clinical=1k+, Medical assistant. Non clinical I’m at 200 exactly. Research I’m at 460 ish. Leadership, had a few positions. Those are basically all my ECs

I have 2 interview invites which I am grateful for though I did have some wifi issues during one of them which has me a bit worried. Right now I understand I’m definitely pushing it. I can get things done by the end of the week. I want to go to medical school period. I was advised to just let the cycle kinda run especially as a Texas applicant and then hit the DO application but ofc I don’t want schools to think I did it as a backup. I was pressed on cash. My only fear when picking schools is the pass rates and maybe tuition, I don’t want to go to a school and flunk out and also the schools that have done rolling, I understand a good chunk of seats are already taken. If you could advice me as a Texas resident which schools do i still have a shot at getting in? Im a little bit pressed on cash but have saved enough.

Thank you so much!

Last month you said,

You already have a lot of advice thrown to you. You can wait to submit your DO applications until mid-November. Many others who post here stand on zero interviews so far, and I remind everyone that the process has to play itself out. Your worth as a person is not determined by the number of medical school interviews you get.

I presume you already contacted admissions staff to make sure your wifi issues didn't disrupt your conversations.

We at DO schools take it for granted you're using us as a backup. We don't take it personally. I suggest the following schools:

Sam Houston
UIW
TCOM
VCOM.LA
ACA
ACOM
OKCOM
DMU
ARCOM
NYITCOM.AR
WCU
KCOM
